Owner/Broker Marti Montgomery: Marti and her husband Fred came to Hernando County in 1987. Having lived in the Central American Country of Belize after Fred took an early retirement from Wayne County Government in skilled trades 1986. Marti’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and being an only daughter she gave up her idyllic beach front life to come to Spring Hill to be with her mom during her treatment. Once here, among the palms, citrus trees, fantastic weather, and nearness to the Gulf, they almost felt they were still in “margaritaville”, only with golf courses and McDonalds. Real Estate sales had interested her for a long time, and she and Fred saw the potential the area offered even in the slow market at that time. After getting her Real Estate License and becoming a Top Producer at a conventional Real Estate Company, within two years she and Fred left to gain more control of their business by becoming Re/Max Agents. Marti completed Broker School two years later and leaped at the opportunity to buy their own company and develop the style of Real Estate that had gained them so many loyal and satisfied Clients. They bought The Realty Shoppe of Spring Hill, in November, 1990. The location, at the entrance of Spring Hill, was the first building in the community, Deltona Corporations original Sales Office. In 2002 the Montgomery’s acquired the first Exit Franchise in the County and became Exit Realty Shoppe. Always giving back to Community that has become their home, the Company donates a portion of each Closing to a local, worthwhile cause such as The Rape Crisis Center, Jerome Brown Center, Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Lighthouse for the Blind, The Boys & Girls Club, Angels on High, Habitat for Humanity, and others. For the past several years Exit Realty Shoppe has provided the Spring Hill Flags that so proudly proclaims our Community at U.S. 19 & Spring Hill Drive. |

Dylan Montgomery | | | Realtor Associate Clara Ward: Coming to America from her birthplace in County Antrim in Northern Ireland in the mid 1980’s, Clara’s charm, energetic personality, and willingness to work, insured that she would have a bright future in her adopted Country. In 2003 the family was happily surprised by the newest addition, Sara, who begins pre-school this year at Notre Dame. Her son Chris is studying English at St. Leo’s University and Daughter Brenna attends Nature Coast High School. Clara hit the ground running in her Real Estate career and became a Multi Million Dollar Producer before the end of her first year.
